Welcome to the TX-NGS Home Page.  This page provides information on topics related to the New Generation System.  From this Home Page, you can access general information about the TX-NGS system, its current enhancements, future development plans, a schedule of events, and news pertaining to TX-NGS.

The following updates/enhancements have been recently made to the TX-NGS System:

  • On the Enrollment History screen, fixed a bug that was preventing enrollments from being updated
  • Removed Race and Ethnicity fields from the Student and Family Enrollment screens, and from the Unique Student Count and PFS reports
  • On the Enrollment History screen, added validation to restrict use of the drop out indicator to students above 7th grade, OS and UG
  • On the ECOE form, swapped the positions of the Enrollment Date and Enrollment Type columns for better usability, and added validation to prevent entry of an enrollment date for students with Residency Only enrollments
  • Updated the Unique Student Count report to more correctly categorize Intersession enrollments
  • On the Enrollment, Multiple Enrollment, Family Enrollment and ECOE screens, added validation to prevent entry of a Withdrawal Date that falls in the future
  • Updated the Offline ECOE to reflect recent changes to the online version of the ECOE form
